Super Quiet operation

The PLA-RP series boasts quiet operation - with the PLA-RP71AA just a mere 39 dB when set on high. And this is achieved by a newly designed turbofan which features an enlarged diameter. Wing shaped vanes and a low resistance airflow design also play major roles in helping to suppress noise. A fan control mechanism smoothly and gradually increases RPM when the thermostat switches the heater on or when dehumidifying to eliminate sudden and sharp noises.

Drain water lift up mechanism

The drain head can be positioned anywhere up to 50cm in the plenum area of the ceiling. This allows for more versatility when selecting drain piping layouts.

Adjustable airflow to suit any indoor environment

Airflow can be adjusted in accordance to ceiling height and number of air outlets (2,3or4 way).

Fluctuating air control eliminates drafts

A swing mechanism on the discharge vanes sends a refreshing and natural breeze through the room to create a perfect indoor environment.

Cooling capacity is based on indoor temp of 27ºC DB, 19ºC WB and outside temperature of 35ºC DB.

* COP (Coefficient of Performance) or Efficiency is the ratio of energy input to energy output. ie. a system with a COP / EER of 3.5 would produce 3.5kW of heat on the heating cycle for each 1.0kW of electrical energy input and remove 3.5kW of heat on the cooling cycle
